which about 0.8 miles north of mile marker 156 (0.1 miles south of mile
marker 157).
- Head east on North Gate Road, which passes the Mining Museum
- Call the Museum `Entrance' sign 0.0 miles
- 0.08 miles - follow road straight onto the bridge; don't speed
on this road!
- 1.55 miles - turn left onto ``Old Northgate Road''; don't turn
until you get to Discovery Canyon School (on the northeast corner)
- 1.98 miles - follow turn to right
- 2.28 miles - Note `Silverton Road' sign on left; proceed forward
nevertheless
- 2.63 miles - Note `Fox Run Park' sign; begin to slow down for
left turn
- 2.77 miles - Turn left onto Roller Coaster Road (stop sign)
- 3.82 miles - Stagecoach Road is your indication it's time to slow
down (you're going downhill at this point)
- 3.96 miles - Turn right on black top driveway into the forest; note
pylon with address `15235' on it (a lone mailbox sits forlornly across
the street); 600 feet (200m) to go
- 4.00 miles - Follow gentle curve to left.
- 4.03 miles - Follow gentle curve to left.
- 4.05 miles - Park in parking lot on right.
